My Current Makeup Favourites

I’ll be completely honest, I originally had this blog post planned as a makeup routine. I had planned it all, taken photos, and was ready to sit down and start typing and then I realised I did a blog post about my makeup routine just over a year ago. I initially wanted to continue with this idea but my routine hasn’t changed much since then and I didn’t fancy repeating myself. Instead, I thought I would show my favourite makeup products. I’ve got a favourite for each product type so without further ado, let’s get to it!

Revolution Pro Hydra Bright Primer

This is one of my all time favourite primers. I love a primer that gives my skin a dewy finish as I suffer with dry skin. It leaves my skin feeling really lovely and really allows my foundation to go on nice and smoothly.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Glow Foundation

£9.99 F4

I have been absolutely loving this foundation recently. It’s a really thin foundation so it doesn’t look cakey on my skin and it doesn’t cling to dry patches which I really appreciate as I have a lot of those. I would say it’s medium to a full buildable coverage which works really well for me.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Infinite Longwear Concealer XL

£9.00 C3

Considering how thick this concealer is, it blends like a dream. It offers amazing coverage and doesn’t look wrinkly under the eyes. I loved the original Conceal and Define Concealer so I automatically went for the XL size in this product.

Revolution Pro CC Perfecting Pressed Powder

£9.00 Beige

I really adore this powder. I’m much more a pressed powder type of person than loose powder and this is one of my favourites. The formula is thin so it doesn’t look cakey on the skin and I also like the fact there’s a tiny bit of coverage.

Define & Fill Micro Brow Pencil and Brow Soap

£6.00 Dark Brown – Brow Pencil £6.29 – Brow Soap

This combination has been my go-to recently. I never really got the popularity of brow soaps until I tried it for myself and I really liked it. I just got this one from Amazon and then the brow pencil has been a firm favourite of mine for a while. I love how skinny the pencil is and the colour is perfect for me.

Revolution Pro Sculpting Bronzer

£9.00 Bahia

This has got to be my favourite bronzer of all time. It’s the perfect shade for me as it’s not too warm but not too cool, it’s not completely matte but not too shimmery and it also has a beautiful formula. It’s not too pigmented and it builds up beautifully. I use this most days. A definite re-purchase when I run out.

Milani Baked Blush

£11.00 Luminoso

Ok, I know everyone has raved about this blush but it is gorgeous. I love blushes with shimmer in them, especially with a peachy pink shade to it and this blush is perfect for that. I would highly recommend this but everyone has raved about it at some point so you’ve probably heard about it.

Ofra Mini Highlighter

£13.95 Rodeo Drive

Ofra highlighters have one of the best formulas of any highlighter I’ve tried. This particular shade in Rodeo Drive is a stunning yellow gold highlighter and one I tend to reach to all the time. The full-size highlighters are a bit pricey hence why I got the mini version but I actually think the mini version is a really good size!

XX Revolution Light Up Eyeshadow Palette Light’s On

This is a really beautiful palette. I love the fact that it’s a relatively small palette that comes with a mirror that lights up. It’s perfect for travelling which I really like. The shades are also lovely and pigmented. I particularly like the 4th shade across from the left which is the peachy orange shade. It’s a perfect crease shade.

Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara

I love this mascara so much because it offers an insane amount of volume for such a cheap price. I can’t believe that this is under £3 but I love the fact that it shows you can get good makeup products for an affordable amount of money. This is quite a clumpy mascara though so you do have to be careful with it but I think once you get past it, it’s gorgeous.

Makeup Revolution X Soph Lip Set

£8.00 Toffee Drizzle

This is one of my newer lip products but it’s definitely one of my favourites. I don’t wear the lip liner every time but I certainly wear the lip balm most days. It’s a gorgeous formula that’s very moisturising and it blends beautifully with the lip liner. I also really like the colour too!

I hope you enjoyed this post. Thank you so much for reading.

Love Beth
