I can’t believe in all the years I’ve been blogging that I haven’t done a skincare routine post. Today that changes! Over the last couple of years, I’ve become really settled into a routine that works extremely well for me and I thought I would share that today.
In terms of my skin concerns, I have combination skin, which means that I have dry and oily skin but I would say it’s predominantly dry. I need to keep my skin hydrated as much as possible otherwise my makeup does not go on particularly nicely. Anyway, let’s get to it!
Revolution Skincare Soft Cream Hydration Boost Cleaner
This product is the first thing I use every morning. I apply this all over my face which will be completely dry and I add water and massage with my fingers. I then wash this off with warm water and my face feels lovely and clean afterwards! I also really love the smell of it too.
Revolution Skincare Caffeine Tonic
The next step in my skincare routine is using a tonic. I use this one from Revolution which I really like. I use a reusable makeup pad and sweep this across my face and neck. It weirdly has a really nice smell which I kind of like.
GLOSSYBOX Eye Boost Cream
This is the newest addition to my skincare routine. I started using this when it was included in a GlossyBox last year and I really liked it. It’s been lovely to use on my eyes and I would definitely repurchase this again once I run out. I put 3 dots underneath each eye and then I blend in with my finger.
Revolution Skincare 2% Hyaluronic Acid
This product has done absolute wonders for my skin. It adds such a gorgeous sense of hydration to my skin which I love as like I mentioned before, I do suffer with dry skin. I apply a few drops to my face and blend in with my fingers and it feels incredible.
Revolution Skincare SPF15 Nourishing Moisturiser
I end my skincare routine with a moisturiser that has SPF in it. I do want to get an actual SPF cream at some point in the future to add to my routine but this is working well for me. I blend this in with my fingers and it feels really lovely.
This post was a little shorter than I expected but I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless. Thank you for reading!
