July Bullet Journal Setup – Rainbows

July is quite possibly my favourite month of the year, the reason being it’s my birthday month! I wanted to do something fun and colourful in my Bullet Journal this month so I went for rainbows as my theme. I should say the rainbows in this theme are more abstract rather than the traditional rainbow theme but I really like it!

Cover Page

For my cover page, I kept things very simple and drew a rainbow in the middle of the page. I went for a really long and elegant cursive font for July and I also included different borders on each corner to add something a little bit different. I’m really pleased with the way it turned out!

Monthly Spread

For my monthly spread, I went for a calendar layout again. I decided to switch it up a little bit and do separate squares as opposed to a combined square. As I did that border on my cover page, I decided to just create the corners as opposed to drawing out the full squares. I really like the way it looks! I added more rainbow doodles and included a follower tracker like always!

Habit and Symptoms Tracker

For my habit and symptoms tracker, I decided to keep the theme of individual squares with just the corners drawn. I really like the way this turned out as I know the individual trackers work really well for me. There are very few changes into the habits and symptoms I’m tracking so I won’t go into too much detail about that.

Mood Tracker and Sleep Tracker

For my mood tracker, I decided to go back to the graph layout. For some reason, I get really bored with the way I track my mood so I always end up switching from the graph layout to a colouring layout or something else completely different.

For my sleep tracker, I continued with the same layout as last month as that works really well for me. I do like the layout that involves showing the time you slept but this is just a much easier layout to create.

Blog Statistics and Playlist

For my blog statistics, I continued with the exact same layout. This has worked for me for as long as I can remember and I can see myself continuing with this layout.

I then decided to include a playlist for July as I haven’t done this for a while. I included a doodle of a phone, as well as a doodle of my Sudio Earphones and as I had room, I included a doodle at the bottom.

Memories of July

Another new spread in my July setup. This is my memories of July spread. I decided to go for a calendar layout and each box will be filled with a memory from each day. I last did this spread about 2 years ago and I enjoyed it at the time so I decided to bring it back again!

Gratitude and Reasons to be Proud

For my gratitude and reasons to be proud, I felt like it would go with the theme better if the titles are up at the top of the page rather than in the middle like I normally go for. I really like the way this looks as I feel it looks really elegant which is lovely. I included more abstract rainbows at the bottom to tie everything together and I feel this creates a really simple spread with lots of room for me to write!

Brain Dump

For my brain dump, I also wanted this to be as simple as possible so I could have lots of room. My brain dump is probably my most used spread so I need as much space as possible. I really like the way this looks and I can’t wait to use this spread.

Thank you so much for reading! I’d love to know what your theme is for July.

Love Beth

  1. Love how you went with rainbows for your theme! Just adding a couple of them brings your entire setup together 🙂 I don’t follow themes anymore but I did go with all headings in the colour yellow this time 😊

  2. Wow your journal is incredible. I absolutely love the aesthetic and the different pages like sleep and mood tracker. I’d pay you to create something like this for me every month!
