I am just as shocked as you all are. If you’ve been following me for quite some time, you will know my Bullet Journal setups are far from minimal. I like to use colour which is evident in my setup last month. I had absolutely no idea what theme to go for this month so I decided to just go super simple. I used two pens and my stamp set and I was good to go. If you’re looking for a minimal setup, I think this would work well for you!
For my cover page, I wanted to have some form of decoration that was simple. Last year, I bought this wonderful book from Helen at Journal With Purpose which is filled with motifs, icons and alphabets. I chose to use this lovely corner doodle as the main source of decoration throughout the setup and I love how simple it looks. I then used my stamps for April and part of the quote on the left page and some very simple capital lettering just to add a bit of variety.
Of course, I went for a good old calendar spread for my monthly setup. Last month, I included a monthly task list but I found I never used it. I made this spread purely with the calendar just so I have an idea of any events coming up. I included the corner doodles and have April down at the side and overall I think this is my favourite spread of the setup! Make sure to comment which spread is your favourite.
Habit and Symptoms Tracker
Before I get started, I know I spelt symptoms wrong. I know what I meant though and now I can look back at it and laugh at my mistake. I think this just goes to show nobody’s bullet journal is perfect and everyone makes mistakes!
For this month, I wanted to go back to a combined tracker setup. For some reason, I find myself getting bored with the same layout with my trackers so I have to switch it up every so often. I’m really pleased with the way it’s turned out and I’m looking forward to tracking my habits and symptoms.
I’ve also added another symptom to my symptoms tracker and that’s disturbed sleep. It feels like every single night I don’t sleep well at the moment so I’m looking forward to tracking this and seeing how true it is.
Mood and Sleep Tracker
For my mood tracker, I kept a graph layout going which always works really well for me. I love how minimalist it looks and it’s really quick to fill out each evening. As for my sleep tracker, it’s the exact same as last month which works really well for me. I really like the stamped title at the top with the tracker down the side. I think it all works really well together.
Weight Tracker and Blog Stats
Last month, I tracked my weight every week and I found it really useful. This was one of the simpler spreads from last month’s setup and I kept that going again. For my blog stats, it’s exactly the same every single month and it works really well for me.
Gratitude and Reasons to be Proud Spread
My gratitude log is such a focal point of my setup. The concept remains exactly the same but the layout always changes depending on the theme. Last month, I went for a daily affirmations spread as opposed to reasons to be proud and while I did enjoy that, I missed my reasons to be proud spread so it’s making a lovely return.
My brain dump forever remains the same. I don’t need to say anything else.
