Welcome to day 22 of blogmas.
Well it’s that time of year where we start to look back over the last 12 months and do some reflecting. Some of us might think back to some memories made, others might think about how they’ve been feeling. Today I want to reflect on the goals I made at the beginning of 2020. Without further ado, let’s get to it.
Get in shape
This is a goal that I’ve managed to achieve to some extent. The job that I got this year meant I was a lot more active on a day by day basis and I wasn’t sat at home every day constantly snacking. I’m not as in shape as I ideally would like to be but I’m definitely somewhat fitter than I was at the beginning of the year which is a positive for me!
Read more books
I am very confident I achieve this goal. I created a reading challenge on Goodreads at the beginning of the year to read over 10 books and I’ve managed to achieve that which I’m ecstatic about. I’ve always struggled with consistency when it comes to reading so the fact I’ve achieved this goal is incredible to me.
Save money every month
This is another goal where I think I’ve sort of achieved it. I didn’t save like a set amount of money each month but I was certainly more careful with where my money was going. Having a job this year has been a massive help and made me appreciative of the money I have .
Meditate at least twice a week
I very much achieved this goal. Meditation has fully become a part of my routine now. I spend at least 10 minutes in the morning every other day ish meditating and I’ve noticed a big difference!
Make progress learning Welsh
I’m really pleased with how this goal is coming along. I make sure I use Duolingo every morning in order to retain knowledge and learn new things and I’m slowly picking up vocabulary and phrases which is good!
