Migrating Into a New Bullet Journal

I can’t believe I’m already at a stage where it’s time to move into a new notebook for my Bullet Journal. I’m quite happy with myself as I’ve managed to keep my previous notebook for 6 months. That pleases me if I’m honest.

Anyway, you can probably guess that I’ll be sharing my spreads for the beginning of my journal. I’ll be using a notebook from The Ink Pot which was kindly gifted to me. I’ve written a review of the notebook which you can find here.

So without further ado, let’s get to it!

Key

I started the notebook with a key page. Although I’ve been using the Bullet Journal system for a few years now, I still like to have the key at the beginning just to make sure I’m using the symbols correctly.

Quote Page

I then followed with a quote page. I love to include quote pages wherever I can (which you probably know) so I wanted to have one here. I think the quote is very fitting and I’m really happy with the way it turned out!

Future Log

The next spread is my future log. I only included the latter half of the year as I figured this journal would also last me 6 months. I went for a vertical layout instead and I’m really happy with the way it turned out!

Theme Snapshot

This is a brand new spread for me. I’ve seen quite a few people doing this and I thought it would be great to include one for me as well. If you don’t know what this is, you basically show your theme in each box so you get a glance of the various themes you did over the year.

Weight Tracker

My initial weight tracker in my previous journal just included tracking my weight once a month which didn’t really work for me. I decided to change that to a weekly tracker which hopefully will work better for me!

Grid Spacing Guide

This is one of my favourite spreads simply because of how useful it is. I would highly recommend including this spread, especially if you’re using a notebook for the first time. It allows you to see the dimensions of the notebook which in turn makes it a lot easier to create spreads further down the line!

A Year in Pixels

This is another favourite of mine. I love seeing this all filled out at the end of the year. The only complaint from me is it’s an absolute pain to set up but I think it’s worth it.

Reading List and Watch List

img_1451-1

I have a reading and watch list for my next spreads. I love reading and watching TV Shows on Netflix so I wanted to create a double page spread. I have already made use of this spread by noting down some books and shows I want to watch but I will also use this whenever someone gives me a recommendation!

Blog Post Ideas

The next spread is dedicated to my blog post ideas. I’m always thinking of various topics I can turn into a blog post and so I created this double page spread so I can jot down any ideas.

Tombow Tracker

I have a growing collection of Tombow Dual Brush Pens and so I wanted to include a tracker to keep an eye on how many I’ve got and which ones I need to get next!

Thank you so much for reading and I shall see you next time!

Love Beth

xx

  1. Love this Beth! I get a mixture of feelings when it’s time to start a new journal. I’m sad to see the old go but also excited for setting up a new one! Beautiful work as always x
