I have developed a routine that I do in regards to my makeup. Makeup isn’t something I do on a daily basis but when I do, this is what I tend to do. I’ve described this as an everyday makeup routine as this is ordinarily what I wear on an average day when I decide to put makeup on. Of course, sometimes I don’t use all of the products mentioned but I wanted to show the full picture if you will. Without further ado, let’s get to it.
These are the products I use when I do my makeup. Like i said I don’t use all of these products every single time I want to put makeup on and sometimes the products are switched with others but I would say these are my most used. As for my brushes, some are from Real Techniques and the rest I believe are from Amazon. I don’t think they sell them anymore though.
I would like to start out with my base makeup. This is my face makeup as well as my eyebrows. I first start with the Revolution Hydrate Primer as I have quite dry skin so I like my face to be as hydrated as possible. I then move to Foundation and at the moment I’ve been loving tinted moisturiser or CC cream. The one I used on this particular is the Revolution CC Perfecting Foundation and I blend that out with a beauty blender. I then use a concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes that I need to cover up. My all time favourite is the Revolution Conceal and Define.
I then move onto powder. For me, I don’t need too much as my skin is very dry in places and I don’t want to add to that. However, I do make sure to powder under my eyes otherwise the concealer will crease. I use a smaller brush for this and I gently pat the powder underneath my eyes. I use the Revolution Translucent Baking Powder.
I then move onto my eyebrows. I was a little unsure on where to include my eyebrows in this blog post but I decided to include it with my base makeup. On a day to day basis, I use a combination of a tinted brow gel and a brow pencil as it’s quick which I really like. I use the Revolution Brow Gel and the Revolution Define and Fill Micro Brow Pencil.
That’s the base makeup done. Like I said, I don’t always use all of this on a daily basis but there we go.
One thing I definitely do not use on a daily basis is eyeshadow. However, I wanted to show the full picture so that’s why I’m including it. I have quite a few eyeshadow palettes that I use quite often but I went for the Revolution Extra Spice Palette in collaboration with Soph which is a beautiful palette!
Unfortunately I can’t remember the shades I used but if I’m going full out, I use two matte shades in my crease, a shimmer shade on my lid and then a light shimmer shade in the inner corner of my eye. Sometimes I like to just use one matte shade all over my eyelid if I want something simple. I then finish the look with the Revolution Mascara Revolution which is my all time favourite mascara!
This is what my makeup looks like after the eyes are done!
The final step is of course my lips. I’ve been loving using lip liner recently and the one I’m using here is a lip pencil I received in a past glossy box. I then use a lipstick and this particular one is the Revolution Satin Kiss Lip in the shade heart race. I absolutely adore this colour and it’s one I use quite frequently.
And that’s it! Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you next week!
