May 2020 Bullet Journal Setup

Welcome to my May Bullet Journal Setup! I hope everyone is keeping safe during this time. We’re living in a strange time at the moment so if you ever need anything such as a chat, feel free to message me on my social media!

As you are all aware, a new month for me means it’s time for a new setup in my Bullet Journal. This month’s theme is all about the daisies and I think it’s my favourite theme so far this year! I used yellow and peach for the colours this month and I am obsessed!

Cover Page

For the cover page, I wanted the main point to be focused on the bunch of daisies at the bottom. I decided to have a peach background around this bunch of daisies in order to really show this and I was obsessed with the way it turned out! I think it goes so well together which I like! I also included individual daisies to fill some of the empty space and I’m so happy with the result!

I also included my usual quote page and I wanted the quote to be fitting with the theme so I’m really happy with this page! I included the daisies with the peach background again to keep the theme consistent!

For my monthly spread, I decided to go for the same layout as I did in February’s setup which I really liked! I love the way this turned out and I think it’s helped by how much I like the theme. I think the theme suits the layout if that makes any sense. I’ve only just noticed I don’t have my followers stats on this spread like I’ve had for March and April but seeing as I’ve only just noticed as I’m writing this, I don’t think it matters too much. Oops. I also want to note each day in the calendar is 3×4 dots.

Habit and Mood Tracker

The layout of my habit and mood tracker remains the same for this month. It’s been working really well for me so I’m hesitant to change it up. Once I end up in a situation where I get bored/don’t want to fill it out, I shall change the layout and I recommend this for you all too! If something doesn’t work, change it!

Sleep and Gratitude Log

As I didn’t go too overboard with a border this month (well, there is no border), I decided to go back to my original layout for my sleep tracker that has continued to work well for me. I liked how different the sleep tracker was for April but I missed this layout a lot so I was eager to go back to it.

My gratitude log has remained the same and continues to work well for me so there’s no explanation needed really!

Instagram Schedule and May Playlist

I really liked the amount of room I had for my instagram schedule last month but I missed the calendar layout a bit. I didn’t really use the ideas section so I simply decided to make the calendar bigger! Each day is 4×5 dots.

The next spread is a brand new one and I was inspired by the amazingly talented AmandaRachLee. She’s been including a playlist spread in some of her setups and I was always interested in that spread so I decided to finally include my own spread. These are all songs I’ve had on repeat a lot recently!

Memories and Brain Dump

As the layouts of my memories and brain dump spread are similar, I decided to group them together due to how little I have to say. I’ve been including these spreads a lot recently and they’ve always worked well so I included them again!

Thank you so much for reading! I’d love to know your theme for May in the comments below!

Love Beth

  1. love the cute flower theme! Nice take on the brain dump page as well, I like it when it’s simple and with lots of space to fill up with thoughts & doodles 🙂
