I don’t know about anyone else but for me, February absolutely flew by. I remember planning February’s Bullet Journal Setup like it was yesterday. This month’s theme was chosen by my Instagram followers (feel free to follow me) and they picked Cherry Blossoms which I have wanted to do for some time!
I’d like to take this time to thank you all for sticking with me during February. I took a hiatus in order to feel refreshed and motivated to continue blogging and I feel better than ever! Without further ado, let’s get to it!
For my cover page, I went for a wreath of cherry blossoms to surround March and 2020 as well as some bigger cherry blossoms in the corner. I really like how pretty and minimalist the outcome is! I also included my usual quote page with the corner cherry blossoms to tie everything together which I really like. I used two colours for this cover page (and also throughout the entire setup) which are light baby pink and a pastel peachy pink.
As you can see, I have gone back to the calendar layout for my monthly spread. I really missed this layout and even though February’s layout worked well for me, I had a real need to go back to this layout. Each square is 5×5 in my Dingbats Notebook which is more than enough room for me. I also had room for the follower stats to make an appearance on this page so I included that. I’m only tracking the beginning and end of the month but that works well for me. I then added cherry blossoms to decorate and I think it looks really pretty.
Habit and Mood Tracker
For some reason, I have been lacking motivation with filling out my habit and mood tracker. I’ve actually abandoned February because it’s really not working for me. I’m not sure if it’s because of the layouts or the actual concept of tracking my habits and mood but either way, I really needed to change it for March. That’s why I’ve gone back to turning my notebook sideways and tracking my habit with a line pattern and my mood tracker with a graph. Does anyone else feel like we’re back in 2017 with these layouts?
If this doesn’t work for me, then I will be taking a break from these spreads because there’s no point in me creating these spreads if I’m not going to be filling them out. The next step might be tracking my habits and mood weekly but we will see.
Sleep Tracker and Gratitude Log
My sleep tracker remains the same for March. However, the only difference is the hours are simply at the top instead of being next to each day of the month. I only went for this because writing out the numbers over and over again is quite irritating.
My gratitude log remains the same. I’ve gone back to my usual layout and I really like it!
Instagram and Blog Planner
The layout for my Instagram and Blog planners remain the same. My Instagram planner worked really well for me last month and I use it pretty much on a day to day basis.
Even though I didn’t use my Blog Planner last month due to an unexpected hiatus, I am confident it will work well for me. I have been using it a little bit and I’ve found it quite helpful already.
March Reflection and Memories
You may remember this spread included a section that reviewed my 2020 goals. However, I have made the decision to only include that every other month because I’m worried it will become too repetitive.
I really enjoy reflecting on the month though so that section has remained. Because the review section is not included, it’s created more room which I’m glad about. Equally, I enjoy looking back at the memories so I’m pleased there’s more room for that section too. I’m going to have to create a new spread for my goal review next month as I can see this layout working well for me.
You know the idea now with my brain dump. That’s all I have to say.
