Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post! One of the very first blog posts I wrote for my blog is “A Day in My Life” blog post. It’s been so long since I’ve done of these types of posts so I thought today would be a good time to finally add to this! Yes, I know I called it “…of my life.” Oops.
Anyway, this day in my life took place on 19th January 2020 so without further ado, let’s get to it!
The first thing I did was went downstairs to have breakfast and a cup of tea with my family. This is something I do every single day and I always enjoy my first cup of tea of the day.
After having breakfast, I then went and got dressed ready for the day. Afterwards, I sat down at my desk and looked through my Bullet Journal to see what was on my to-do list.
One of the tasks on my to-do list for the day was to use Duolingo which is a language learning app. I’m currently learning Welsh so I always make sure I use this app every day. This took me about 5 minutes in total.
The next thing I did was go over the plan of my next weekly spread in pen. I always plan my next weekly spread on Saturday in pencil first and then I go over in pen on Sunday which I was doing on this particular day.
At 2pm, there was a football match on TV so I watched that with my brother. It was Burnley vs Leicester and Burnley won 2-1 so congratulations Burnley fans.
During half time, I went outside for a bit before continuing to watch the match with my brother. It was an absolutely gorgeous day!
I then went back up to my room to do some work on my February cover page for my Bullet Journal before the highlight of the day of me: Liverpool vs Manchester United.
I ended up watching the match with my brother and my Dad and thankfully, Liverpool won 2-0 which I was ecstatic about. The last-minute goal from Mohamed Salah was incredible and I couldn’t be more happy with the overall performance. I feel very proud to be a Liverpool fan.
I went outside during half time again and I had to take a picture of the sky because it was beautiful. I mean, look at it. Nature is stunning.
After the match finished, we had dinner and then I went upstairs to begin my night routine. I washed, got into pyjamas and filled out my Bullet Journal spreads. This is also the time where I always plan for the next day in my Bullet Journal.
I then spent 10-15 minutes writing in my daily journal about the day. This is something I do every single day without fail. I really enjoy writing in my journal and I find it very therapeutic.
I then watched a series on Netflix and got into bed, where I read for a little while. I’m currently reading “Reasons To Stay Alive” by Matt Haig and it’s incredible.
Thank you so much for reading! I really enjoyed writing this.
