Hello everyone and welcome to day 18 of Blogmas! Today’s blog post is going to be all about my 2020 new year resolutions. It’s that time of the year where everyone and anyone starts to think about the future and what they want to achieve. I was pretty bad at this for this year so I’m making a conscious effort to really think about my upcoming goals and what I can do to achieve them.
Anyway, enough of the very long introduction, let’s get to it!
1) Get in shape
This covers quite a few things I want to achieve. By getting in shape, that requires exercising more. Getting in shape also means I can lose weight which is something I want to do for 2020. There’s quite a lot within this goal but I’m determined to get there!
2) Read more books
I have been an absolute nightmare when it comes to reading books so I am hoping 2020 will be the year that I read more. I don’t want to be too specific with how many books I want to read which is why the goal is quite vague.
3) Save money every month
I need to start being more smart with my money in 2020 in order to be ready for the future. Again, I won’t be too specific with how much money I want to save but saving just a little bit each month will be very useful.
4) Meditate at least twice a week
I have definitely made progress with my anxiety and mental health and so I am looking to focus on one thing that helps with anxiety and depression. Meditation is something that really helps out and allows a peace of mind for me. This is why I’m really focusing on meditation in 2020.
5) Make progress with learning welsh
I have been using Duolingo to learn Welsh ever since my family and I moved to Wales. I want to be able to continue with this in 2020 with the aim of being fluent in Welsh at some point in the future!
