Hello everyone and welcome to day 11 of Blogmas. By the time you’re reading this, the Christmas decorations in the house will have been up for over 2 weeks now (my family are very keen) and I absolutely love them. Because of this, I thought it would be a good idea to share the decorations with you. Let’s get to it!
I should probably mention first that my Mum has an obsession with nutcrackers so expect to see a lot of them in these pictures. I’m starting with the cabinet that has 3 Christmas decorations on it. I love the way that this looks, particularly the light-up star in the centre. It looks gorgeous when the lights are out as you can see from the top photo. I also love the nutcrackers on either side of the star. The colours of them are so Christmassy!
The next decoration to discuss is, of course, the Christmas tree. I love the way it looks with the gorgeous decorations. The theme we’ve gone for is very traditional, with wooden baubles and ornaments. I also love the nutcracker ornaments included on the tree to add that pop of colour.
I also love where the tree is in our living room. We have a huge bay window so it only made sense to put the tree there and it looks beautiful.
Finally, let’s look at the fireplace and the mantelpiece with lots of gorgeous nutcrackers. There’s also a hanging ornament and some yankee candles which my Mum collects. I love the tall ones standing next to the fire but I particularly like the Christmas lantern in the centre of the mantelpiece.
Are your Christmas decorations up yet? Let me know!
