Hello everyone and welcome to Day 7 of Blogmas! Today’s post is my December Bullet Journal setup which I’m very excited to share with you all! This Bullet Journal setup post is a little bit different because I’m not including every single spread. I think talking about the spreads that never change such as my gratitude log is a bit counter-productive. From now on, you will see spreads that have changed from the previous as well as new and returnee spreads. I hope that’s okay and let me know what you think!
This month’s theme is all about snowflakes. I have actually done this theme before in December 2017 but that was back when my themes didn’t get carried through the entire month so I thought it would be fun to attempt this theme again! Without further ado, let’s get to it!
I absolutely adore the cover page. I love the various snowflakes on the spread that give it variety as well as the different shades of blue and grey. The colour scheme of this entire theme is blue, grey and a bit of silver which is a nice difference from the yellows and gold of last month.
I also decided to include the quote page next to the cover page this month just to add something different and I really like the overall outcome. The quote I went for is “let it snow, let it snow, let it snow” because it obviously fits in really well.
I think my monthly spread is my favourite spread of the month. I absolutely adore the composition of the spread, from the snowflakes to the calendar; It all fits in very nicely. The actual calendar spaces are 6 by 6 but if you’re to take into consideration the number section, it would be 6 by 7.
I also adore the quote that I included on this page. You may have noticed if you’re a frequent reader of my blog that the follower tracker is not present on this spread. You will see later on in this blog post that I decided to give the follower its own entire spread. This is why the quote is included instead.
Habit Tracker (and Mood Tracker)
The habit tracker for this month is very simplistic. I have chosen to keep the individual habit trackers but instead, they are in the shape of the calendar month. To fill this spread out, I will be putting a black dot on each day that I completed the habit!
As for my mood tracker, you will notice that there’s no photo included this month. You can see a little glimpse of it in the corner of the above photo but the reason why it’s not fully shown is because it’s essentially a blank space apart from the numbers. I will be writing out a word to describe my mood each day in calligraphy and I’m very excited to try this. It would be more beneficial and easier to show this mood tracker once the month is over!
Here is a full spread version of my follower tracker. The previous version of this tracker was included on my monthly spread and it simply tracked my follower numbers at the beginning and then end of the month. In the full-size spread, I will be tracking my followers weekly to get more of an in-depth idea of how my followers are looking. I’m not 100% fussed on the numbers and I don’t let it define you. This is just an idea to see what’s working and what’s not!
This month, I decided to bring back the sleep tracker as I’m intrigued to see if I sleep more or less in my new home. I decided to go for a different layout this month as opposed to tracking the amount of hours. I’m instead going for a layout that’s more visual with the times in which I’ve gone to sleep and woken up!
This month, I decided to add an Instagram planning spread. The purpose of this spread is to determine the schedule of my posts on Instagram so that the content is not too repetitive. I’m hoping this will be useful for me!
I also included my gratitude log but as always, it’s the exact same layout which is why there’s no picture. Equally, my blog planning and brain dump spread have also not got pictures included because they are completely bank. Rest assured though, they are still a part of my December setup!
And that’s it! Thank you so much for reading and I shall see you tomorrow!
