Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post. I was very lucky to be contacted by Gaston Luga which is a Scandinavian brand who create and sell some truly gorgeous backpacks. They asked me if I would like to pick a bag out to have and of course, I said yes. This is going to be my full review of the bag so I hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: This bag was gifted to me by Gaston Luga. However, all opinions are my own and I am not being paid by Gaston Luga to make this blog post.
The backpack I decided to go for is the Kampis Backpack in Black. I will leave the link here. You can get this backpack in 4 different colours: obviously mine in black, hawthorn pink, midnight blue and burgundy. I went for black because I think it is the easiest colour to style with pretty much anything in your wardrobe.
The backpack can fit an 11-13 inch laptop inside. The exact dimensions of this backpack are 40 x 30 x 13.5cm. The size of this backpack is very suited for me. I can comfortably fit in all of the necessities I have in my bag with plenty of room left which I like.
I’m now going to discuss the features of this bag.
Firstly, the backpack comes with adjustable padded straps which I really appreciate. If there’s quite a few items in the backpack which makes carrying it heavy, the padded straps allow for that extra comfort. Equally, having them adjustable allows you to customise the positioning of the backpack. I haven’t played around with these yet to determine my preference but I’m sure they’re easy to adjust.
As you can see from the photo, the inside of the bag has a lot of space. The bottom of the bag lays flat against the ground so I think this would be really good for school. You could put your books and utensils in here comfortably without causing them any damage. I also think having a flat bottom makes putting items in the bag a lot easier. It creates extra room which I appreciate.
I mentioned previously about being able to fit an 11-13 inch laptop inside this backpack. The reason why this is possible is that there’s a padded compartment inside the backpack which is where the laptop goes. This means you can keep your laptop away from the other necessities in the backpack. However, even if you don’t have a laptop, you can still use this as a way of organising things within your backpack which is what I’ve been doing!
One thing that I like about this backpack is the number of compartments within it. You can probably tell from the photo above that there’s a zip compartment inside the backpack and I use that for makeup and smaller loose items!
Equally, you also have a front section for more storage at the very front of the bag as well as a smaller, almost hidden, section at the back. This is described on the website as a passport holder and I can certainly see myself using that as its purpose.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this backpack. The quality is fantastic, the storage space is very good and it’s a very comfortable bag to have on your shoulders.
At the time of writing, Gaston Luga has a limited-time Black Friday offer. This includes a free travel bag and 25% off all Gaston Luga products. However, I’m not sure if that offer will still be available once this has been published. If it hasn’t, you can use my discount code BUJOWITHBETH for 15% off. This isn’t an affiliate code by the way.
I highly recommend using this company for purchasing a backpack! Thank you so much for reading.
