Hello friends! At the end of July, I finished my Scribbles That Matter Bullet Journal which meant it was time to purchase a new notebook and move on with the next chapter.
I decided to go for a Stationery Island notebook which you can purchase here and of course, I will upload a full in depth review of the notebook once I’ve used it for a few months!
Today’s post is going to be all about my yearly spread setups in this new notebook. I did set these spreads up a little while ago now so you will also be getting a little overview as to how I’m getting on.
Similar to how I set up for a monthly setup, I do like to pick a theme for the yearly setup and this time, I’ve gone for a black and white floral theme. I’m really pleased with the way it turned out so let’s get to it!
Name and Key
The first spread in this setup is my name and key spread. The stationery island notebook doesn’t come with a name and key setup so I decided to create my own. The name spread simply includes my name (of course) and also my phone number (which I’ve blurred out) in case I end up losing the journal. That hasn’t happened to me yet but you never know. Of course, the key spread is one I like to have in my Bullet Journal and for the eagle eyed among you, you’ll notice the key has altered from my last Bullet Journal. I’ve gone for a more simplistic key this time and so far, I’m really liking using this key.
I’m really happy with the outcome of this spread. I think it really sets off the vibe of this new journal nicely and I feel like it’s a good statement spread to open up the journal.
Year at a Glance and 2019 Cover Page
Next up, it’s the year at a glance spread and my 2019 cover page. I have visions of this journal potentially lasting into 2020 which is why there is a cover page for 2019 just in case. I also have the year at a glance spread because it’s such a useful page to have. It’s good for when you’re setting up a monthly spread and you want to know what day the month starts and ends.
Once again, I really like this setup. I think both spreads compliment each other really nicely and I’m really happy with the way they turned out.
The next spread and a very important one for me is a future log. A future log is something I always include and is viable to my Bullet Journal system. As you can see from the picture, I have already made progress with using it.
I decided to go for a a horizontal layout as opposed to a vertical layout seen in my previous Bullet Journal and I much prefer this layout already. It gives me more room and is more clear in my head which I really like.
The next spreads are my follower trackers. As you can see, these are exactly the same as the setup in my previous Bullet Journal. The only difference is changing the numbers up slightly to accommodate the goals I’ve already reached.
I’m really pleased with the way this spread has turned out. Of course, that’s added by the fact I’ve managed to reach some of the follower milestones already!
Weight Loss Tracker and Quote Page
The next spreads include a brand new spread and a quote page. For the last few months, I have been including a weight loss tracker in my monthly setups. However, I have decided to put this in my yearly setup. I was inspired to do this by looking at some photos on Pinterest so I obviously did some changes to make it my own and I’m really happy with the outcome.
I had a spare page next to this tracker so I decided to include a quote with a design in keeping with the theme. I really like this quote and I’m pleased with how it looks!
Grid Spacing and Year in Pixels
The final spreads in this setup are the grid spacing and year in pixels spread. Having a grid spacing page is so helpful, especially when you have moved into a new notebook and want to know the dimensions. It makes setting up spreads a lot easier for me so I highly recommend having this spread included in your setup.
Of course, the year in pixels spread is a favourite of mine. I have used new pens for the key in this notebook but it remains the same. I really like the way this looks and I can’t wait to see it all filled out!
That’s all of the spreads in my Bullet Journal! Thank you so much for reading and I shall see you soon. Let me know which is your favourite in the comments below!
