Hello everyone and welcome back to 5 Days of Bujo with Beth! Today’s blog post is going to be all about themes and the different ideas I have for you to use as a theme one day.
You may be wondering why I’m talking about theme ideas. Perhaps you’re unsure about why themes are needed in a Bullet Journal. Maybe you don’t see the point.
And that’s fine.
However, for me, there are a few reasons why I use themes in my Bullet Journal. Firstly, it makes for a clearer divide for each month. Each different theme in my Bullet Journal signals the start of the new month which I really like.
Secondly, having a different theme each month keeps things different. I don’t know about you but I don’t like the thought of my Bullet Journal being repetitive. I get very bored of sticking to the same thing for a long period of time so it’s nice to switch things up in terms of the colours for the theme and the various layouts you can do with a theme.
Thirdly and finally, I just find it fun if I’m honest. Coming up with new themes and listening to other people’s ideas each month for each month is actually a really fun part of the Bullet Journal process for me.
This leads me on to the different ideas for a theme. If you get easily stuck on what to do for a theme each month, I hope this list can help you out. I’ve divided the list into two parts: the first part is the themes I’ve already done in my Bullet Journal and the second part are other themes I and you might want to use in the future. Let’s get into it!
