May Bullet Journal Flipthrough

Hello everyone. It’s that time of the month again where I reflect on the previous month in my Bullet Journal. All of you always seem to enjoy this series on my blog so of course I am going to keep doing it!

In case you are new, this series is all about looking back at the spreads in my Bullet Journal from the previous month and finding out what went well and what needs to be improved for my benefit.

Without further ado, let’s get into it!

Cover Page

I am very pleased with the outcome of May’s Cover Page. I love how abstract the design is and how different it is for me. I think the fact I limited myself to black and grey really helped with that and it allowed me to do something distinct as opposed to just going for colour.

Monthly Spread

Even though I really liked the idea of this layout at the time, it didn’t work out for me very well throughout the month. I think the layout was too complex in a weird way and it discouraged me from filling it out. In the end, I definitely ended up neglecting the spread and didn’t use it at all.

I really like the outcome of the trackers this month. Even though an individual habit tracker spread is my favourite layout, I really enjoyed filling this out so I wouldn’t be fussed if for whatever reason I went back to this layout again. I did notice the habits I was tracking kind of overlapped each other and so that will be altered for June but other than that, it was absolutely

As for my mood tracker, I really enjoyed the graph layout this month and I didn’t have any problems with filling it in so this will definitely continue for the time being.

I also like the overall layout of the double page spread. I like the fact it looks like a skyline but at the same time, it wasn’t overly complicated either.

Gratitude log and Sleep Tracker

The gratitude log also worked once again this month. I’ve really enjoyed thinking about the positives in a day even when it’s the smallest of things. That’s all I have to say on the gratitude log really. I love the layout and the washi tape and it also works.

The sleep tracker also worked very well for me. The layout is absolutely fine so I have no need to change that at any point for the foreseeable future.

Brain Dump

I never have much to say on the brain dump spread. I just want you all to know it continues to work and that’s all that matters!

Weekly Spreads

I really like the weekly spreads I had for May. Each of them worked really well for me and I like the way they turned out. I’m really pleased with the various layouts, the lettering, the way I incorporated the theme of the month and how well they worked for me.

You can probably notice the last two spreads have journal entries and that’s because I decided two weeks ago I wanted to include more journal spreads within my Bullet Journal. I added them into my June Bullet Journal Setup so I won’t have to continue with that in the present month.

Overall, I’m really pleased with how May turned out in my Bullet Journal! Thank you so much everyone for reading and see you soon!

Love Beth

  1. Oh my goodness, your journal is so beautiful!! I would love to keep a bullet journal like this, but get frustrated when it looks nothing like the ones I see online!
I love the gratitude log in particular 🙂
