Hello everyone and welcome back to that time of the month where we (well I) reflect on my Bullet Journal from last month and have a look at what worked well and what didn’t exactly go to plan. I love doing these blog posts and you guys seem to love them too so let’s get to it!
Cover Page
I really like the way the cover page turned out for April. I love the simplicity of it but at the same time, it’s still obvious what the theme is. I like the use of the washi tape as I feel it adds that extra something to the spread as well which I really like!
Monthly Spread
I absolutely love the way the monthly spread turned out. It honestly reminds me of a history timeline for some reason and I love the look of it. Equally, it still remained very practical which I really liked so I’m very happy with the outcome of this and I will definitely be doing it again.
Trackers
The habit tracker worked really well for me. As always, I love using individual habit trackers and so I really liked using the tracker this month. However, I’ve grown a little bored of using colours to reflect my mood for my mood tracker. It felt very repetitive every night I was filling it in which is why I’ve changed my mood tracker for may. I’m sure I’ll come back to this layout eventually but at the moment, it’s grown a bit stale for me.
Gratitude Log and Sleep Tracker
I absolutely adore the way my gratitude log turned out. I was actually inspired by Helen over at Journal With Purpose who creates some amazing spreads so make sure you go and check out her blog! I really liked finding even the smallest things I was grateful for about each day and so I will definitely be continuing with this. My sleep tracker also worked really well and thus I will be continuing with it for the foreseeable future!
Brain Dump
As always, there isn’t much to say about the brain dump spread other than the fact it continues to work well for me and I see no need to change it in the future.
Weekly Spreads
As you can see, I used two vertical weekly spreads for April and I really like both of them. I also tried using an events column which I actually really liked and I will be trying that out again in May.
Overall, I’m really happy with the way April turned out. I love the theme and the execution of the spreads. It was a good month.
I love your journal! It’s so well organized. 🙂
