April Unipocket Haul

Disclaimer: The Unipocket was kindly gifted to me by “The Unibox” for the purpose of promotion of the company as a brand ambassador. I have not been paid to say anything and thus all opinions are my own.

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another blog post. I received April’s Unipocket on Saturday 27th April and so I thought I would naturally keep up with tradition and write a blog post about the items I got in the Unipocket.

If you are new to my blog and this is the first time you’ve heard of the Unipocket/Unibox, then I shall explain who they are and what they do. They offer monthly subscription boxes (or one off purchases as well) and each box/pocket has a different theme each month. Previous monthly themes have included “exambition”, “winter wonderland” and “get sh*t done” to name a few. Each of these boxes/pockets have been curated towards university students but as I have mentioned in previous posts about The Unibox, you don’t need to be a university student to get a hold of these boxes and you will certainly enjoy them just as much!

You may be wondering why I keep referring to boxes and pockets. Well, The Unipocket is essentially a smaller and, in turn, a cheaper version of the full size Unibox. There may be instances where you want a smaller treat each month or finances are a bit tight. The Unipocket means you can enjoy some of the same things received in the Unibox for a cheaper price.

Anyway, let’s get onto April’s Unipocket. This month’s theme is “So Freakin’ Zen” so without further ado, let’s get into what I received!

Here is an overview of everything I received in the “So Freakin’ Zen” Unipocket. From £10 + p&p.

Happi Balance Notepad

By Happi Empire. RRP £8.00.

The first thing here is a notepad by Happi Empire which surrounds the idea of self-care. The notepad is split into three sections, mind, body and spirit. It has different parts to fill out related to balancing out energy and focus in order to have a productive, well balanced and happy day. For example, some parts are “Today’s affirmation…”, “My 5 veggies or Fruit…” and “3 deep breaths…” etc. This notepad looks to be amazing for those who suffer with mental health illnesses as it encourages people to maintain a balanced life which is really beneficial. I really like this.

Bach – Rescue Remedy

From bachflower.com. RRP £3.69.

The next thing we have is a Rescue Remedy from Bachflower. Now, I have never used rescue remedies before so admittedly, I have cheated and taken a description of this product straight from their website as it will explain this product a lot better than I could!

Lozenge combines Pantothenic acid, better known as Vitamin B5 and Vitamin B12, with the RESCUE essences in a soothing lozenge with a natural orange and elderflower liquid centre.
This combination of B vitamins has been specifically selected to support your daily performance even on busy days. Pantothenic acid (B5) helps support normal mental performance & Vitamin B12 helps maintain normal psychological function.

I think these will really be beneficial for me and they fit in really well with the theme.

Designed by Liz Harry. RRP £1.99.

Liz Harry has been featured in The Unibox/Unipocket before, specifically in the “Be a Unicorn” box/pocket back in February. I’ll leave a link to my blog post about February’s Unipocket here so you can see what she has done but to summarise, she did the sticker and the notebook and I really liked them. For April’s Unipocket, she created a bookmark to go with the theme and I really like it!

Biomiracle Korean Mask

RRP £3.00.

There’s another sheet mask to add to my collection! I imagine this is going to smell amazing and I can’t wait to use it. The magazine that comes with the box/pocket gives instructions on how to use this sheet mask so make sure to reference that!

From Peakz.co.uk. RRP £1.20.

Here is a snack featured in April’s Unipocket. Once again, this snack is vegan which I think is extremely good and kudos to The Unibox for including vegan snacks and allowing everyone to be catered for. They are hazelnut chocolate squares with lots of B12 and Iron in them, as well as a lot fibre so they’re extremely good for you. I can’t wait to try them!

Finally, the magazine includes lots of tips about avoiding stress, stopping stress and coping with stress as well as a self-care checklist right at the end.

Overall, I am really impressed with “So Freakin’ Zen” Unipocket for the month of April. All of the products seem to be of really good quality and I can’t wait to try them out.

Thank you to “The Unibox” for sending me the Unipocket as always!

Love Beth
