Hello everyone. In today’s blog post, I will be doing a Q&A featuring questions sent in by you lovely lot! I asked on my Bullet Journal Instagram and Blog Instagram for some questions and you guys delivered so thank you! Please click on the links and follow me so you can all stay updated when I ask for these questions! Without further ado, let’s get into it!
What’s your fave journal you’ve ever used?
I think my Dingbats Notebook is my favourite journal I’ve ever used. I love everything the company stands for and their notebooks are such good quality. It’s taking a lot of willpower not to go back to a Dingbats Notebook after I finish my current one. The only thing that’s stopping me from doing so is the fact I want to try a variety of different journals before I settle on one I really like. I’ll leave a link here in case you want to purchase one.
Why are your Bujo Spreads so good?
Well, you are absolutely lovely! Thank you so much! I can’t really say much about this question but know that I am very appreciative!
Why did you take a gap year?
I took a gap year for 2 main reasons. Firstly, I wanted to save some money for university which isn’t exactly going well but it’s the thought that counts. Secondly, I just wasn’t ready mentally to go to university. I wanted to focus on my mental health so that I had a better chance of settling in at university with little to no issues.
Top 3 must have Bujo Pens?
Ooh, I like this question! I would say the Stabilo Point 88 fineliner, Pentel Fude touch brush pen and the Crayola super tips.
How many pens do you own?
I actually really want to count every pen I own. I’m including brush pens and markers but not highlighters so my mildliners and stabilo highlighters are not included. I have 179 in total…
Yes, I know. That’s a lot.
Do you like a Series of Unfortunate Events?
I absolutely adored the books when I was younger and read them many times. I also really liked the film but I am yet to see the TV show. It’s on my to watch list though!
What’s your favourite thing about studying?
No, if we’re talking about studying in a more generic term, then the fact that I’m learning information. I really like learning about new things and I like being able to confirm that I have learned something whilst I’m studying/
What do you do to stay motivated when your Mental Health is making it difficult?
Sometimes, I just have to take a break from whatever I’m doing. It’s okay to admit that sometimes you can’t do something at some point. If I am in a situation where I need to be doing something and need motivation, I will take more breaks than usual and in my breaks I will read or draw or use my Bullet Journal.
Where do you draw inspiration for (bullet journal) spreads?
Pinterest is my go to website for inspiration. Any layouts or doodles I want for a specific theme, I will use Pinterest.
What are your ways to improve skills in hand lettering and drawing?
I know everyone talks about this but I would definitely say practice makes perfect. Whether it’s for hand lettering or drawing, practice.
Thank you for the questions everyone!
