Since I started this blog over a year ago, I haven’t felt proud with the content being posted, the organisation surrounding my blog and the scheduling of my posts. If I’m honest, I’ve been neglecting my blog. That’s why I sat down last night and really thought about what I want to do with this blog. I had an epiphany you could say. I’m going to be discussing the future plans of this blog as well as give you a mini life update as I have some exciting things happening in my life!
That’s right everyone, I’m doing Blogmas this year! No broken promises. It’s all planned out in my bullet journal. Day 1 of Blogmas is going to be an introduction about what to expect and the time in which my posts will be published. You know, all of the usual admin stuff.
If you’re unsure on what Blogmas is, I’m going to be uploading a blog post every single day from December 1st until December 24th. It’s like an advent calendar but on a blog.
I really hope you are all excited for it as much as I am and I can’t wait to get started!
From now on, (I hope you thought of the Greatest Showman) I will be uploading a blog post every single Saturday at 5pm GMT (the time in which this post will be published) so you all now have something to look forward to! I’ve wanted to have a specific uploading schedule for a while now and now is the perfect time. There may be times where I have to miss a blog post but I doubt that will happen any time soon.
So, what’s the schedule going to look like for the rest of the year?
- Saturday 10th November (now): Plans for my blog and mini life update
- Saturday 17th November: Why I love autumn
- Saturday 24th November: My Bullet Journal journey
- Saturday 1st December – Monday 24th December: Blogmas
- Saturday 30th December: 5 Things I’m looking forward to in 2019
I hope this schedule is okay for all of you. If you have any feedback, please let me know!
Mini life update
I’ve got a job! I’m going to be a costa coffee barista which I’m extremely excited for. If you know me, you know my mental health has interfered with my job hunting. Thankfully, I’m in a much better place now which means I can fully focus on my job and get some money behind me ready for university. As I have a job, I am pleased to announce that I will be upgrading my blog before the new year, meaning I will have my own custom domain. Exciting stuff!
Well, that’s pretty much it! Thank you for reading and I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
